Working as talent representative, I have had to encounter Rap Wars with a few Powerful People in the Entertainment Industry protecting my client(s) all in the line of duty. Freddy Fields was one of my adversaries until he bowed to the Queen with all due respect. Yes, I beat him at his own game, me, the girl from the wrong side of Hollywood. The girl he called on her home phone to tell her she wouldn't be able to step off the curb in Hollywood when he got thru with ME. I remember that chilling phone call. But chill needs heat and I got HOT. I didn't even think of his power or what he could really do to me. All I knew is I had the law and God on my side, and I was going to win this fight. David and Goliath all over again.
I was thankful, Mr Fields was a fare man, I truly respected him and he respected me after we had it out without going to court. Of course I was going to win. It felt good to beat the big guy, but I didn't deliberately set out to beat him nor did I set out to even want to be in the same ring with him. Circumstances happened, and Mr Fields was professional enough to take the lick and crown me as Queen D. Yes, he said I was the smartest "bitch" he ever met in HOllywood!!! And he lived happily ever after with the Emmy and the Nominations for the "Montel Williams Show".
RIP Freddie Fields, the "Original Super Agent", you will always be remembered by this Queen in Hollywood. You kept it professional.
